Got introduced to clay in 2013 and been experimenting with it ever since. During my undergraduate days, I was teaching assistant to my ceramic professor, Toby Buonogurio, who is a renowned ceramic artist in the west. She’s the reason why I chose ceramic as a career. After college I moved onto working in a studio called “The Potters Studio” in Berkeley, California. It was a huge community space where students came to learn and ceramic artists gave classes, artists came to work on their own collection, college students would intern and the studio had its own gallery space where everyone sold their artwork. Basically, it was a creative powerhouse and I was able to gain understanding of the functioning of a ceramic studio outside a college environment. I became more experimental and confident with clay. When I came back to India, I joined Aura Pottery Studio in Chandigarh. My journey of studio management and teaching started there. I started with teaching one day workshops and soon moved to teaching beginner level  courses. After four years of teaching students from all over the world, managing a pottery studio, social media marketing and managing studio online shop and the physical gallery, it was time to start my own pottery studio and finally Claymor was born.
